Our story begins here

In 1867 in Casinalbo, a small town in the province of Modena, the Maletti brothers produced salami, sausages, and stuffed pigs feet.

The fame of Maletti cured meats began to spread for their exquisiteness in Italy, then also abroad

Starting as a small workshop, by early '900s the company receives the recognition marks of royal house suppliers.

In the 1950s the fame of its products quality prompts many consumers to travel and buy from Modena and Bologna to the company's factory outlet and to buy the famous Christmas hampers.

In 2004 the company sold its brand name and recipes to Villani SpA:the last among the charcutery's companies still owned by the original family, located few kms away from Maletti's plant and connected to it by an ancient kinship.
