For the production of Fior di Bosco baked ham starts with an Italian heavy pork leg . Slowly steamed in a mold. Seasoned with real broth, made exactly as at home: with meat ,vegetables and spices (celery is not used as it is an allergen). Also added is Millefiori honey. What results is an excellent cooked ham, soft and delicate. The taste is different from other baked ham.
An ancient salting method allows a more natural and homogeneous distribution of the brine.
