Cinta Senese is the ancestor of Tuscan pigs: the first
PDO certified black Italian pig with a "white collar".
Bred in the wild in the Sienese countryside, fed mainly
on acorns. The meat is pink and tasty, with a high
concentration of Omega 3 and 6, and with pleasant fat
on the palate.
The maturation provided by the consortium is at least 12 months, we select them with at least 15 months.
